When I woke up today I figured that it would be another day of working working working–and trying to ignore the “wow, my back tooth really hurts and is kind of making that half of my skull throb. What is that about?!?” ness that was happening.
When I woke up today I did NOT think that I would spend the day taking the train across town to the emergency dental clinic in North East Portland and getting a root canal and having one of my wisdom teeth (which turned out to be “almost” infected) pulled. I did not count on having to be given four (FOUR) shots of novocaine (and I think something else but I’m not entirely sure).
But that’s what happened.
And now I am off to lie on the couch with a bag of fozen peas on my face because? Um? My numbing agents have worn off. And? Ouchy.

That’s rough. Advil and Tylenol together will help. One of each.
Big Hug!!

Wow… you’re a stronger person than I am.. I’d be lying on the couch crying. My fiance had to have some teeth pulled a couple of months ago. They gave him pain pills so he didn’t feel pain for a couple of days. Hope the pain wears off soon!!!

Thanks ladies
I’m healing all right I guess–the inside of my cheek just started itching like crazy at the sites of my anesthetic shots so I’m hoping that means my healing is going as it should
