So this setting the alarm a half an hour earlier even though we are staying up as late as ever? Is kind of kicking my ass! This morning I ended up going back to sleep after Will left for school (to avoid the imminent terrible mood that was looming) and slept in until 11! Nosagudforme! Will likes the 7:30 alarm because it wakes him up gradually whereas because it is my alarm and right next to my face? I am woken up immediately and a little bit angrily by the sudden jarring noise which repeats every five minutes until Will says “okay, I’ll get up now” an hour later.
For the record? I also usually hit snooze for about an hour when I wake up so I know all about the whole easing into alertness thing but you know what? It’s not annoying when it is for me!
In spite of losing two hours of work time I still managed to clean the apartment (so that I wouldn’t scare away Will’s friend and his….companion), make and eat lunch, sort the mail and get a sizable amount of work done. Even though I know it isn’t the nicest thing in the world I’m kind of hoping to avoid playing tour guide tomorrow so that I can keep up this productivity level. Now that I write that, of course, tomorrow will be a plethora of distraction and time suckage. Because that is how my life goes.
In other news, I am getting way crochet-y again! I put it down for a little while but after talking about it on the phone with Katie yesterday (I got her addicted 1 to it) all I want to do is play with yarn!
- so hard not to make a crochet pun here ↩

I can’t hit snooze. I dunno. It may have something to do with the fact that my alarm is the radio so I like to sing along in bed while half asleep. Go figure.
I must say – I’m happy you’ve changed your settings so I can read your entire post in my feeder. Mucho Appreciado.
