Happy Holidays!

As it turns out, the in-laws will not be coming up to us after all.  Instead we have been “asked” to drive down to them (in Southern Oregon).  So we will be leaving in the morning and the plan is to come back on Thursday morning, but that isn’t set in stone.  It could change at any time.  The in-laws could decide to follow us back up, they might ask us to stay longer… we have no idea.

So, because I am the nervous sort and am not looking forward to this drive at all (for a number of reasons that I don’t want to go into right now) I am going to ask for good vibes to be sent for us–to keep the roads drivable and for us to be safe during the couple hundred mile drive down I-5 in the freezing weather that awaits us in the morning.  I’ll probably twitter the trip, but I don’t think I’ll blog until the trip is over and (knock on wood) we make it back safely.
